So I"ve recently gained Skyrim consisting of DawnGuard and update 1.7, but I"ve got a problem, whenever ns click play in the launcher or try running that via TESV.exe, it gets me come a blackscreen, i beg your pardon I have the right to only remove by restarting my computer or open up Task manager through CTRL+ALT+DEL and also close it. Keep in mind that ns have got a no-steam version (though ns did shot launching the via vapor once, exact same results) and also I have actually Windows 7 Ultimate, before re-installing home windows 7 Ultimate, ns never had this problem. Mine graphics card motorists are all up to date and yes, Skyrim detects my Nvidia 310M. Any assist would be considerably appreciated!

Assuming you have a legal version of the game, ns would try running the video game as administrator and see if the helps.

guusjo11: start disabling things in the launcher and also trying points there, then shot making sure your graphics map isn"t handling video quality setups on its own. I"d also try windowed mode, running together administrator. The normal stuff.
Perhaps check the main forum or heavy steam forum for civilization with similar issues too.

None that this has actually seemed to help.. Ns am running Skyrim together an administrator and with home windows XP SP 3 compatibility setting (standard). I"ve already checked similiar forums yet none of the solutions has seemed to help.
What I"ve tried:
-Uninstalling and reinstalling Skyrim, including all of the updates, no luck.
-Disabling Dawnguard and also run the video game without it, no luck.
-Reinstalling Skyrim and shot running without the updates, no luck.

-Changing points in Skyrimprefs.ini, no luck. (changed earlier though)
-Windowed mode, no luck.
So that goes exactly like this, ns click "play" in the Skyrimlauncher, and also all I get is a black screen, appropriate from the start, once I float my mouse over it, it shows a loading/not responding symbol and when I open task manager it claims Skyrim is not responding, and also closing that is only feasible with task manager, which takes it"s time closing it. I"m running Skyrim through my NVidia 310M graphics card on tool settings (Launcher detected). How can I make sure the graphics map isn"t taking care of things ~ above it"s own? Any method to examine this with NVidia regulate panel?
