“A Hundred Yards Over the Rim” puts a distinct and memorable spin on the fish-out-of-water trope. Rod Serling enthusiasts are therefore advised to watch this entry, minor historical inaccuracies notwithstanding.

Complementing the quizzical reactions of Robertboy, the hesitant mindsets of Joe and Mary Lou are exactly what one would certainly expect of 2 ordinary, then contemporary people faced via a pioneer sporting an “antique” rifle. Especially, both personalities hesitate to accept Chris at confront value, yet can market no explacountry for his anachronistic behavior—a conflicted response that few time take a trip narratives have controlled to depict in such a believable fashion.
